Brussels, our proud capital city, has faced some very difficult months. The lock down after the Paris attacks was still on our minds when we were ruthlessly hit ourselves, in the very heart of our city.
This shock wave of events put a dark cloud over our beloved city. And where it’s cloudy, it’s less crowded. Hotels and restaurants, cafés, shops and events … they can still feel the aftermath of the storm. And that’s not helping the economical situation.
Still, Brussels hasn’t lost any of its charms. The beautiful scenery and monumental atmosphere, the rich cultural life, the gastronomical treats such as the best beer and finest fries … it’s still there. Still as hospitable and humoristic as before.
